LMN is hiring an Urban Designer with 0 to 3 years of experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Seattle, USA, with the flexibility to work remotely. This is an opportunity to engage in projects at the intersection of architecture, urban design, and planning. LMN is looking for someone who has exposure to digital prototyping, fabrication, visualization, or immersive environments, especially when paired with a desire to contribute to team-wide knowledge and capability.

Responsibilities

• Generate design and planning alternatives for mobility and development projects.
• Lead GIS analysis for sites, networks, and neighbourhoods.
• Produceclear diagrams to explain ideas, concepts, and alternatives.
• Providie planning support for subarea and development projects.
• Assist with outreach and engagement.
• 3D model and visualize in Rhino and Enscape.
• Write and produce highly visual and conceptually clear reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in city planning, urban design, landscape architecture, architecture, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in a range of planning and urban design contexts
• Proficiency in existing and emerging design and visualization tools and technologies, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Revit, Arc GIS, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
