The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

In Monterrey, Mexico, we explore Tadao Ando’s stunning concrete family home with idyllic views of the mountains. In Tel Aviv, we take a look at Pitsou Kedem’s update of a centuries-old home. In Vancouver, we see how Measured Architecture created a private, eco-friendly home on a bustling city street. That’s just a hint of what you can find in our houses features.

In addition, we feature several cultural projects, including Bjarke Ingels’ magnificent maritime museum in Denmark; and Milanese firm CTRLZAK’s iMuseum, a minimalist concept shop where visitors can purchase copies of ancient art. We also bring back show hits from across the globe, including the London Design Festival, Cersaie in Bologna, and IIDEX in Toronto.

Other highlights from the issue: Nest and other smart home gadgets get put to the test; the coolest and most cutting-edge TVs and wireless speakers; Shoreditch’s Ace Hotel by London’s Universal Design Studio (BarberOsgerby’s architecture and interior design arm); and over 20 vibrant upholstery and wall textiles.

Azure’s January/February issue is now available on eMags, and on newsstands today in Canada and December 30 in the U.S.
