Eterna Bellezza

Young Architects Competitions (YAC) launches Eterna Bellezza, a competition of ideas for Italian and Egyptian designers under 35.

Eterna Bellezza calls for the design of objects inspired by a trait that the Egyptian and Italian creative expression share: the ambition to eternity, the desire to create something that goes beyond time and trends and is timelessly fascinating.

The competition calls for the conceptual design of furnishings for living area, either as a single object or a collection/combination of objects.

The winning proposals will be selected by an international jury panel composed of some of the most world-renowned professionals in the field. Jurors include Alberto Meda, Piero Lissoni, Patricia Viel, Elena Salmistraro, Raef Fahmi, Amr Helmy, Karim Rashid, and Cherif Morsi.

There will be two first place winners, one Italian and one Egyptian, with a cash prize of €4,000 each. There will also be a total of eight gold mention winners (four Italian, four Egyptian) with a €500 cash prize.
