La Madreselva Competition 2025 invites participants to design a series of small-scale lodging units and communal spaces, expanding the site’s capacity to host up to 20 guests without compromising its rural soul. Designers are encouraged to develop a project that merges architecture, landscape and cultural identity: an intervention that enhances the quiet presence of the original structures while providing new experiences for contemporary travellers seeking disconnection and immersive tradition.
Submission Requirements
- Two A1 panels (59.4 × 84.1 cm)
- A brief text describing the proposal

- 1st Prize: 5,000 €
- 2st Prize: 2,000 €

Eligibility
- Students enrolled in undergraduate or diploma courses in design and architecture may participate in La Madreselva Competition 2025.
- Individual entries only. Submissions by groups will not be accepted.
