Open Call: Czech Film and Architecture Festival

The Czech Film and Architecture Festival announces an open call for films related to the topic of architecture and urbanism. It could be short films, mid-length or feature films. Selected works will be screened at the 12th edition of the festival from September 29 to October 4. Please submit your movie using this form.

Taking place each October in Prague and across the Czech and Slovak Republic, the festival has become an independent platform for discussions on architecture and urbanism based on screening documentaries, experimental as well as feature films. Its aim is to promote contemporary architectural approaches among the general public and present architecture as a significant part of our everyday life that requires appreciation and care.

The Czech Film and Architecture festival is organized by KRUH (Circle), a civic association founded in 2001 by a group of architecture students at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. It is the only NGO, which operates professionally and continually within the architecture field nowadays. Focus of its activities lies in an ongoing cycle of lectures on architecture held by leading architects and architecture critics.
