Galerie56 presents HEAVYMETAL, the newest exhibition put forth by the avant-garde platform celebrating the intersections of art, architecture and design. Curated by founder and architect LeeF.Mindel, the exhibition is an exploration of artworks created exclusively from metal. It examines the ways in which metal has been utilized in different design applications across the 20th century and beyond.

Curated by architect Lee F. Mindel, the HEAVYMETAL exhibition at Galerie56 offers a glimpse into the mechanics and meanings behind the work of design heavyweights. These include Tony Duquette, Margaret Evangeline, Norman Foster, Gio Ponti, Jean Prouvé, Hechizoo, Josef Hoffman, Poul Kjaerholm. HEAVYMETAL also displays the metal chargers from the iconic Four Seasons at the Seagram Building.
