The second edition of Lisbon Design Week takes place in 2024, exploring Portuguese talent across the fields of craft, art and collectible design. The five-day festival presents exhibitions, product launches and talks across 80 venues in the city. Participating venues range from design studios and showrooms, established and emerging galleries, private venues, hotels, open studios and cultural and artistic institutions.
The festival boasts an eclectic programme that revolves around special events, from exclusive presentations, new collections, talks, masterclasses and open studios to guided visits and exhibitions, in an intersection of design with arts & crafts. Exhibitions include deFio Rugs’ new tapestries in the atelier and garden, as well as Wesley Sacardi’s immersive installation. To celebrate the work of local artists, Barros and Bernard present a focus Portuguese artists featuring designers Maria Pia de Oliveira, Tito Chambino & Ju Reino da Costa.
