As the fourth contemporary design show — and the first by an American gallery — at the renowned Château La Coste in Provence, PURE features white Plasterglass editions of furniture and lighting by thirteen artists and designers, including Patrick Naggar, Elizabeth Garouste, John Koga, Vladimir Kagan and the RALPH PUCCI studio. Curated by Ralph Pucci, the exhibition showcases handcrafted works produced in the gallery’s New York studio, each highlighting the material purity and sculptural qualities of Plasterglass. The white finish emphasizes form, craftsmanship, and the unique voice of each creator. Set within Oscar Niemeyer‘s Pavilion, the presentation complements the architecture’s simplicity and elegance.
The show includes new and iconic works, from John Koga’s Hawaii-inspired pieces to Paul Mathieu’s Grace lamps and Garouste’s expressive Beans collection. Architect Lee F. Mindel debuts works from his Veritas collection, while Patrick Naggar offers poetic interpretations of classical forms. PURE reflects Ralph Pucci’s commitment to artistry, collaboration and design that bridges fine art and function. All works in the exhibition are available for purchase, making this an opportunity to engage with contemporary design.
