Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Pritzker Prize recipient Thom Mayne, FAIA of Morphosis Architects, speaks live via Zoom about Morphosis’ dynamic urban design projects. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a big thinker conversant in how cities across the globe approach urban design. Mayne will present a series of urban projects across a variety of scales that demonstrate the belief that architecture and urban planning are not mutually exclusive fields, nor do they occupy certain territories of scale. For Morphosis, every project begins with research as the driving force of production and the work illustrates the balance that the firm has sought between rational and intuitive processes of design. Among other projects, Thom will present his research project for the development of the Wilshire Corridor in Los Angeles.
