Formline Architecture and Urbanism is currently hiring a Design Architect who will join their team in Vancouver, Canada. Formline Architecture and Urbanism are an award-winning architectural firm committed to developing projects that are culturally sensitive and environmentally responsible.

Qualifications:

• Must be registered or eligible to register with the AIBC
• 5 years’ work experience in the field of architecture
• Experience in managing a design team and coordinating a project from Schematic design through to Contract Documents including Construction Administration.
• Required experience with AUTOCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Sketchup, WORD, Excel, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Added value if you are comfortable with setting up standards for Revit and Autocad for a small office
  • An asset but not a requirement to know Rhino
• Windows
• Excellent management and communication skills
• A team player who enjoys a creative and collaborative environment
• A self-starter who can manage a set of documents and is comfortable coordinating with consultants
• Experience with the BC Building Code 2012
• A strong sense of graphics and the ability to develop a clear set of drawings
• Familiar with LEED standards and Living building Challenge requirements will be an asset
