Tom Dixon Studio is hiring an Interior Designer with 3+ years of experience to help design their global retail and exhibitions. You’ll be based out of Tom Dixon‘s London, United Kingdom office, with flexibility to work remotely. This is an opportunity to work on design concepts and further the creative direction of the brand within retail and exhibitions. This role involves developing innovative concept designs, producing sketches and renders, research and design project delivery. Tom Dixon Studio is looking for someone who balances creativity, technical design and management with the ability to work in a fast-paced studio.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Heads of Design & Sales
• Manage the Retail and Exhibitions calendar
• Develop innovative concept designs in response to internal briefs
• Produce sketches and renders, and detailed CAD design intent drawings
• Prepare presentations including 3D, 2D, mock-ups and renderings
• Create schedules including finishes, specifications, furniture & lighting
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years within Interior Design professional practice with experience of working in Retail & Exhibition design
• Can confidently deliver a design vision through all project stages
• Strong skills in 2D and 3D drawing (AutoCAD, Rhino, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Is willing to take ownership for processes in their studio and help clarify their ways of working
• Skilled communicator, able to build rapport and inspires people at all levels
• Has a hands-on approach and is willing to take initiative to support and deliver projects
