Job Description:

Studio Olafur Eliasson are looking for students to fill an Internship position in the fields of architecture, who are interested in art production and the transformation of research into real projects. They seek highly motivated team players with a strong passion for art and architecture who are interested in spending a semester in the design department at Studio Olafur Eliasson in Berlin. The internship duration will be about 6 months. 

The studio team consists of specialized technicians, architects, artists, art historians, cooks, and administrators. The team works with Eliasson to experiment, develop, and install artworks, projects, and exhibitions as well as to communicate and contextualize his work. They are a fast-paced team that understands the importance of slow, in-depth work. The studio hires highly skilled team-players, and they value creative thinkers and doers with a passion for art.

Your Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent design skills and sensitivity for aesthetics
• Curiosity and enthusiasm
• Strong proficiency in Rhino 3D and Adobe Suite (please specify in CV)
• Experience in programming geometries (Grasshopper)
• Good English skills (German skills are helpful but not necessary)
• Ability to work independently, precisely, and elaborately
• Ability to think analytically and conceptually
