Provencher_ Roy is currently looking for a Junior Designer in the Ottawa office. The position will offer the incumbent the opportunity to accomplish various challenges such as:

• Prepare plans, execution drawings, specifications and details
• Conduct space planning studies, and perform area calculations to BOMA standards
• Assist the project manager with design concept and furniture selection/specification
• Prepare plans and presentations for client presentations
• Conduct site surveys, as well as furniture surveys/inventories
• Review and approve shop drawings

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor degree or DEC in interior design
• A minimum of one year experience
• Mastery of Autocad, Indesign and Photoshop
• Experience on Federal Government Projects (an asset)
• Knowledge of Sketchup and Revit (an asset)
• Knowledge of French (oral and written) (an asset)
