Moriyama Teshima Architects is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer with 2+ years of professional design experience. You’ll be based out of their office in Toronto, with the flexibility to work remotely. This is an opportunity to create brand-aligned materials that express the creativity and vision behind their projects. This role involves producing marketing materials such as proposal packages, brochures, presentations and other business development material. Moriyama Teshima Architects is looking for someone with a solid understanding of design principles, excellent time management and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce marketing materials including proposals, presentations, reports and brochures
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team and studio staff
• Liaise with print vendors and manage production timelines
• Support the marketing team with graphic needs for events, interviews, awards, and campaigns
• Assist with signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphics as needed
• Help organize and catalogue visual assets including photography and project imagery
• Stay up to date on design trends, software, and best practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional design experience, preferably in architecture, design, or related industries
• A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates excellence in both print and digital design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong design and detailing ability
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• A collaborative, curious mindset and a desire to learn and grow
