Zaha Hadid Architects is hiring a Lead Architect/Designer that is a qualified Part 3 Architect. You’ll be based out of their office in London, United Kingdom. This is an opportunity for you to manage project-based teams, ensuring that a number of projects are designed, detailed and delivered to meet the standards set down by the senior team. Zaha Hadid Architects is looking for a Lead Architect/Designer with strong detailing and delivery skills, with substantial coordination and construction stage experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects, taking responsibility for delivering more than one project at a time.
  • Interpret the design intent for a project and know when to consult, so that the design upholds the reputation of ZHA in the marketplace.
  • Take responsibility for steering projects through all work stages.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
  • Produce details and construction drawings.
  • Work independently to resolve design and technical issues.
  • Research products and specifications.
  • To mentor project team members.

Qualifications

  • Effective communicator when describing complex ideas for drawings or models.
  • Collaborative and influential team leader and team player.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and self-critical.
  • Confident in exercising judgement, making, and implementing reasoned decisions.
  • Enquiring and adaptable.
  • Willing to develop, learn and be proactive
  • Must demonstrate Rhino proficiency.
  • Revit knowledge would be preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge in coordination and detailing.
