Overview

The five-year BA at The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art takes a broad look at the foundations of both architecture and urban planning. Launched in 2009, the post-professional Master of Science in Architecture attracts working professionals looking to enhance their practice via advanced research and skill development. All students are assigned a workspace in a shared studio housed in the landmark Foundation Building on the school’s bustling East Village campus. Two travel fellowships enable students to study abroad. Multiple travel fellowships enable students to pursue independent study.
