Part of the new Winter Collection, the Change In Focus area rug from FLOR is a simple yet modern design that makes a big impact.
With abstract shapes and a subtle ombré effect, the Change In Focus area rug from FLOR can be used to make a bold statement or to ground a room with a refined character. The individual carpet tiles that comprise the area rug each feature a random pattern, meaning that no two are alike and the overall pattern will not align perfectly. This lends a bespoke charm to any application and allows for non-directional installations.
The modular carpet tiles are linked together using the brand’s FLORDots, non-toxic adhesive dots that stick to the underside of the carpet – not the floor – to join single tiles together in a variety of layouts and shapes. The modular nature of the series means pieces can be removed for cleaning, repairing or replacing without disrupting the entire design.
Made from 100 per cent solution dyed nylon, the Change In Focus area rug from FLOR contains both post-consumer and post-industrial material waste, making it a sustainable choice for interior projects.
The Change In Focus area rug is available in three charming colourways: Tundra, which pairs cool grey tones with a soft neutral beige; Chalk, a combination of icy blues with beige; and Butterscotch, a mix of candy pink and pistachio green with beige. All three colourways feature a warm oatmeal-like overlay pile that adds dimension and accentuates the movement of the pattern. Measuring 50-by-50-centimetres, the carpet tiles can be installed to create traditionally shaped area rugs in a variety of sizes as well as custom-sized installations and layouts.
The Winter collection from FLOR also includes the On Repeat and Penny For Your Thoughts area rugs, with each style focused on reinvigorating interior spaces with serene neutrals, rich textures and artful patterns.
