Created in collaboration with Swedish designer Emma Olbers, the Emma Basket XL and Tilda Ash Bucket from Eldvarm expand the portfolio of contemporary fireplace accessories offered by the Stockholm-founded, now Paris-based brand.
The Emma Basket XL and Tilda Ash Bucket mark a decades-long partnership with Emma Olbers, one that has been defined by an appreciation and preference for sustainable materials, refined craftsmanship and a deep and heartfelt respect for the rituals of fire.
A new addition to the popular Emma Basket design, the Emma Basket XL from Eldvarm holds more than twice the volume of its predecessors without compromising or altering its visually pleasing proportions.
Intended for larger fireplaces that use 50-centimetre wood logs, the Emma Basket XL features brass ring handles in place of the original powder-coated steel handle and an even larger leather belt that wraps around the powder-coated steel body.
The Emma Basket XL from Eldvarm is available in five colours: Blanc, Graphite, Havane, Noir and Olive. While designed as a beautiful place to store wood, the large basket can also be used to store other household items like blankets and towels.
Designer Emma Olbers devised the Tilda Ash Bucket as one vessel that services both the start and end of a fire. An ash and kindling bucket, it can be used to transfer nutrient-rich ash from the fireplace or stove to be used in the garden, and then, once empty, it can store kindling and fire-starters at the ready for next time.
Also made from powder-coated steel, the Tilda Ash Bucket features custom brass details and hand-stitched vegetable-tanned leather; two versions also include oiled walnut lids. The ash and kindling buckets are available in four colours: Graphite, Havane, Noir and Olive.
Both the Emma Basket XL and the Tilda Ash Bucket from Eldvarm are hand-crafted in Poland (as all its products are) from sustainable materials and built to last.
