Designed by iconic Danish supermodel Helena Christensen, the Ø lounge chair from BoConcept has a commanding presence that invites relaxation.

Inspired by — and named for — the many small islands in Denmark, the Ø lounge chair possess a serene beauty that instills interiors with a graceful and artistic element.

With the Ø lounge chair, Christensen — who was appointed Global Artistic Director of BoConcept in early 2025 — wanted to create a personal sanctuary for the home, one that balances generous proportions with understated minimalism. Recalling her own connection to water and nature, she describes the lounge chair as “a cozy little island in your home.”

The Ø lounge chair from BoConcept has a welcomingly oversized seat whose comfort is enhanced by three super-soft cushions; together, they offer a deep, cocoon-like experience that envelops the sitter with comfort and support.

Its structured and protective back wraps seamlessly around to form a cradle for the large seat cushion, creating a continuous statement-making profile. Crafted with Danish design principles in mind, the chair combines sinuous lines with a functional beauty.

The Ø lounge chair is available in a dozens of upholstery fabrics, including Lucca, an exclusive Italian-made fabric with a soft, brushed surface and subtle texture. Developed by Christensen, the material is offered in tones of beige, white, green, red and camel.
