Described as having a “sporty soul,” the Seu bench collection from RS Barcelona was designed by Antoni Pallejà, founder of Barcelona-based A.P.O. design studio.
Inspired by classic sports court seating, designer Antoni Pallejà appointed the Seu bench collection from RS Barcelona with an elevated form that extends a direct invitation to sit down, pause and rest. Intended to support gatherings of friends and family, the Seu bench is free of any unnecessary ornamentation to focus on the purity of its design.
Made from sturdy yet lightweight aluminum, the Seu bench features a gently curved seat that creates a comfortable and relaxed sitting experience; it has a split-seat construction that allows for easy drainage to prevent water from pooling.
Embracing a nomadic spirit, the Seu bench from RS Barcelona is easy to pick up and move to where it’s needed, including from outdoors to indoors. While it’s design comfortably accommodates spectators for ping pong and foosball games, it’s also sleek enough to be used around a dining table, as extra seating in the backyard or poolside or even as a catch-all bench in a front hall or living room.
Adding to its versatility, the Seu bench collection from RS Barcelona is offered in five lengths – 45, 130, 150, 180 and 220 centimetres – and a wide variety of micro-textured powder coated polyester painted colourways that range from timeless classics like black and white to nature-inspired greens and blues and bold energetic tones like yellow, orange and red.
