Part mirror, part display case, the new Teca mirror from Antonio Lupi cleverly blends aesthetics with functionality in the bathroom. 

Devised by AL Studio – Antonio Lupi’s in-house research and development team comprised of designers, architects and other industry experts – to re-conceptualize the everyday and ubiquitous item, the Teca mirror is defined by clean lines, a minimal thickness and crisp angles. The result is an almost magical piece that lends bathrooms a classic and easy-to-incorporate refined form. 

Meaning ‘display case’ in Italian, the name Teca aptly suggests the mirror’s secondary function. Made with a transparent glass frame in Bronze or Fumé colourways, the Teca mirror from Antonio Lupi positions its reflective surface at the back to create an integrated lower shelf on which to display small personal items and daily-use accessories. The extended sides of the rectangular glass box frame not only the face but also whatever item is on show. 

The perimeter of the mirror is integrated with LEDs that cast a warm, diffused glow behind the boxy frame that not only enhances the transparency of the glass but also amplifies the floating effect of the mirror/display case has against the wall.
