Art directed by British designer Michael Sodeau, the show brings together a bunch of UK brands, like Modus, Benchmark and Anything as well as New York lighting company Roll & Hill. Here are a few of the highlights:
1. Innermost shows off Winnie Lui’s Beads chandelier, in spun steel and polycarbonate.
2. Channels celebrates Dizzie Gillespie in this solid-wood collection named after the jazz legend. Designed by Samuel Chan, the line ranges from rocking chairs to bottles.
3. Aptly named, the Simple Collection by +Stone presents stackable bowls in sober shades.
4. Michael Sodeau’s Noughts & Crosses stools for Modus elevate the trend of embellishing sturdy stools with boldly painted details and reinforcements.
Designjunction takes place April 12 to 17 at Zegna headquarters, 56a Via Savona, in Milan.
