In honour of the reconstruction of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, this Gagosian gallery show includes generous donations by many gallery artists, including Balthus, Georg Baselitz, John Currin, Edmund de Waal, Alberto Di Fabio, Roe Ethridge, Urs Fischer, Theaster Gates, Frank Gehry, Katharina Grosse, Andreas Gursky, Michael Heizer, Thomas Houseago, Jia Aili, Y.Z. Kami, Takashi Murakami, Marc Newson, Giuseppe Penone, Sterling Ruby, Ed Ruscha, Jenny Saville, Richard Serra, Setsuko, Cindy Sherman, Taryn Simon, Patti Smith, Blair Thurman, and Rachel Whiteread, some of whom have created work specially for this exhibition.

In the spirit of the Gagosian gallery’s ongoing commitment to artists and the arts, proceeds from this exhibition are directed to support the renovation and restoration of the medieval cathedral.
