The ninth edition of the Portuguese architecture film event Arquiteturas Film Festival returns, this year taking place in Porto.
This year’s theme is Slow Down!, with the festival aiming to explore a reduction in architecture “even if it entails demolishing, reducing, reusing or subtracting”. The festival focuses on the growing global interest in interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary architecture. It uses the power of moving images as a tool for broadening public understanding and appreciation of architecture.
The festival is separated into four parts: the Official Programme, the Guest Institution Programme, the Competition Programme and the Experimental Programme.
