ArtworxTO Hub West event HOME(LAND) exhibit feautring purple sculptural art piece and paintings on red walls

ArtworxTO Hub WEST invites you to attend the free and exhilarating art exhibit and support local artists. Cloverdale Mall is a west end focal point where creative communities are catalysts for neighbourhood transformation. Pass through this year for interactive installations and multimedia exhibitions including the exhibition series HOME(LAND) curated by Claudia Arana; digital arts experiences using Virtual and Augmented Reality with Arts Etobicoke; and a community engaged project online conversations by Farrah Miranda with Lakeshore Arts.

Claudia Arana is a Latinx Independent Curator and Cultural Connector who has installed her practice at the intersection of artistic platforms which promote diversity and inclusion of varied cultural perspectives. Drawing from a Mestizo background, Claudia’s curatorial work centers on in-between, and mixed cultures that develop along physical, political and social borders.

ArtworxTO Hub WEST’s HOME(LAND)  is a series of three multimedia exhibitions examining how concepts of land intersect and dialogue with the fluid, and shifting characteristics of identity, belonging, and home across and between races, regions, cultures, and nations in connection with the four elemental energies from which all of life is created, water, fire, air and earth.
