The Barcelona Design Week (BDW), created by Barcelona Design Centre in 2006, is the annual event on design and creativity in Barcelona. The BDW 2021 slogan, “Think, Design, Act”, reflects a message that the festival wants to convey at the present time to face the challenges that lie ahead: think on a design level, design and implement new solutions, models and environments more sustainable, economically viable and focused on the real needs of people. Design is a key ally for any sector, it is not just about objects, but about processes, innovation, sustainability and putting people at the center.
