Built to Last panel - modern seating area with high ceilings

Join ICG Gallery New York‘s panel of voices in architecture and interiors to explore how sustainability is driving innovation, shaping creativity, and redefining the way we design for the future. Designer and sustainability leader Ámbar Margarida will share her perspective in a forum called “Built to Last: A Panel Discussion on Rethinking Design Through Sustainability.”

A principal at architecture and design firm Spacesmith, Margarida is known for bringing a sharp focus on sustainability to interiors work with diverse clients including the boutique jeweller FoundRae, nonprofits such as SCO Family of Services, and major institutions including New York University and the United Nations Development Corporation.

Sustainability goals increasingly shape how organizations — from universities, to retail brands, and nonprofit service providers — think about and plan for the future. The Built to Last panel answers the question or what impact does this outlook have on the design of their physical spaces, and what role should architects and designers play in driving these conversations?
