Much early modern architecture continues to maintain its vitality. This exhibition focuses on the houses that a number of architectural icons created for themselves during the modern movement. In this case, the architect is both the designer and the client, and the house is where they work and live.
Case Study House #8, in the Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles
Included in the exhibition are Alvar Aalto’s Rihitie House, Le Corbusier’s Cabanon, Charles and Ray Eames’s Case Study House #8 and Maekawa Kunio’s Kunio House.
