in situ studio hosts the annual two-week design workshop, with this years theme, Real Matter 22: City Conversations, every summer in Raleigh, North Carolina, featuring lectures, tours, and a collaborative project. Participants are given the opportunity to interact with community leaders and design professionals, while also building a network with peers from across the country.
A major component of the workshop is a free in-person and virtual lecture series that is open to the public. This year’s Real Matter series, City Conversations, features lectures from Johanna Hurme of 5468796 Architecture, David Seiter of Future Green Studio, Neeraj Bhatia of The Open Workshop, Ifeoma Ebo of Creative Urban Alchemy, Hector Barroso of Taller Hector Barroso, and several local leaders in the Raleigh area.
There is also the option to attend the free in-person lectures, with limited seating options that must be reserved prior to the event.
