British paint and wallpaper brand Farrow & Ball inaugurates its creative billboard series, featuring a unique commissioned artwork by Los Angeles painter Ali Silverstein. Entitled Summer, the installation is on view along the northern facade of the recently opened Los Angeles flagship on La Cienega Boulevard.

Silverstein painted a series of works in Farrow & Ball paint in her signature improvisational style of mark-making, then collaged these paintings together to create a single piece that was translated to vinyl for the billboard. The project was a true collaboration — Farrow & Ball mixed the colours, and Silverstein, with paint cans lined up beside her canvas for spontaneous inspiration, dipped into each colour as it called to her.
