U.K. start-up Aeropowder is experimenting with an innovative upcycled material (not shown) using waste feathers from the poultry industry. Reformulated into insulation panels, the lightweight, biodegradable material would offer extreme durability thanks to the keratin protein in the feathers’ structure.
