Ambrosia

The starting point for Marset‘s Ambrosia light was to update the traditional Linestra lamp with new technology and materials. Originally designed as a decorative piece for a multi-brand luxury boutique in Madrid, the final result demonstrates that a technical and resolute design can also be poetic. Inspired by Linestra’s original “line of light,” Madrid-based studio Ciszak Dalmas have created a modular system that can be adapted to fit any space. With Ambrosia, a tubular LED descends from the ceiling via gentle lines, creating an elegant and diffuse light complemented by brass or powder-coated structural elements. Four pre-set lengths, from 47 to 124 inches, combine with extension poles for up to 72 inches of ceiling drop, allowing for visually uninterrupted compositions. The LED SMD 24V light tube is available in three warm colour temperatures — 2200K, 2700K and 3000K — and is fully dimmable, with a methacrylate diffuser that softens the light. The Ambrosia lamp by Marset can be installed with an included canopy, or with a remote driver of the client’s choice, giving it the flexibility to adapt to any space.
