Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Arbor Canopy Baffle System by Turf

Working with and around existing structures, the Arbor Canopy Baffle System by Turf Design allows for creative installations that bring both an acoustic and visually appealing solution. Featuring continuous connections between baffles, the sound absorbing apparatus is completely customizable with staggered or full-coverage module options that can complement the placement of existing lights and other ceiling fixtures.

A standard 15/16-inch T-Grid, the Arbor Canopy baffle system includes two profile widths and is available as a module comprised of four 40.6-by-304.8-centimetre baffles or as individual baffles with a maximum length of 304.8 centimetres. Linking the modules are intermittent felt Gridlock crossbars that provide connectivity along with the ability to stagger formations across the ceiling.

Specially designed end caps provide a clean finish while infill panels can be added to further improve acoustic performance; Arbor has a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) range of 0.55 to 0.95. The nine-millimetre baffles are made from 60 per cent pre-consumer PET felt boards in 30 different colourways, each of which has a soft heathered effect. Also included in the portfolio are eight digitally printed wood-inspired textures.
