Las Vegas-based Woogmaster Studio took inspiration from elements of the Italian coastline when devising the Avant and Varenna collections for outdoor and hospitality furniture brand Walters Wicker. Together, the Avant collection of tables and the Varenna collection of fully upholstered seating offer the opportunity to create comprehensive arrangements that exude both comfort and function.
With the Avant collection, Woogmaster Studio – helmed by founder and creative director Alex Woogmaster – focused on simplicity and functionality, creating a series of highly architectural aluminum tables that bring flexible usage to any setting. Meaning “forward” in Italian, the Avant collection boasts sleek, angular frames that accommodate easy and out-of-the-way stacking of the rectangular and square side tables and square coffee table – as well as a coordinating chaise lounge that can also be stacked.
Avant is offered in a multitude of powder-coated neutral to poppy colourways, metallic finishes and wood-look options. The chaise lounge features a mesh sling seat and back and optional cushions.
For the Varenna collection, the award-winning design studio looked to Northern Italian lakeside villas for influence, creating upholstered pieces that are as gracious and decadent as their references. With classical forms and sculpted silhouettes, the comprehensive Varenna collection of outdoor furniture includes a three-seater sofa, chaise lounge, bar and counter stools, a dining armchair, a lounge chair and two ottomans (one oval and one square).
The sleek aluminum frames with gently tapered legs can be powder-coated in standard black or white, as well as a wide range of made-to-order custom colourways. Seven Giati Elements high-performance textiles are offered for the upholstery; COM is also an option.
