London designer Jonathan Prestwich has extended his Balance line of seating for Modus, adding a lounge chair in three types, along with a coordinating footstool.

The new Balance lounge chair series consists of a low back, a high back and a wingback, with each offering a suitable seating option for a range of settings – from informal meeting spaces to reception and waiting rooms to luxury lounges. 

Welcoming and graceful lines define each version, with the high back creating a partially enclosed atmosphere for privacy, whether in discussion or for a moment of solitude in a busy environment. 

The wingback features classic contours that enhance a relaxed feeling, while the low backs contribute a spot for energetic and impromptu meetings or casual conversation.

All three variants of Modus’ Balance lounge chair can be upholstered in a wide range of fabrics or leathers and the lightweight aluminum four-point base can be polished or powder-coated in jet black and include carpet-friendly nylon glides.
