Expressing both modern and classical styles, the new Balanced collection from Bernhardt Textiles makes a sophisticated statement in a multitude of interior projects. Comprised of four distinct patterns – Perfect Plain, Crafted Wool, Soft Spun and Blended – two sustainable fabrics and one performance fabric, the Balanced collection of upholstery textiles can be used to create coordinated and complementary designs.
Defined by its multicoloured basket weave structure, Perfect Plaid features a large repeat that incorporates irregular lines to form a casual and relaxed base grid that is highlighted by stitches of bright, vibrant colours. Made from 50 per cent recycled cotton, 12 per cent post-consumer polyester, rayon, wool and nylon, the material is recyclable and renewable. Perfect Plaid is offered in five handsome colourways: Whitewash, Brownstone, Stratus, Periwinkle and Limo.
Crafted Wool boasts a simple weave that expresses a convincing hand-woven look. Utilizing specialty yarns in the weft lends the material a distinct personality and character and the sustainable wool-cotton blend is PFAS-free. Crafted Wools in available in five earthy colourways: Bamboo, Copper, Stonewash, Eclipse and Licorice.
A multi-coloured chenille, Soft Spun embodies luxury and comfort with its soft hand and unique colouring. Subtle hints of lustre in the construction lend the polyester-cotton-acrylic blend an inviting velvet-like touch and appearance. Soft Spun is available in 11 rich colourways: Bisque, Drizzle, Marble, Roasted, Koala, Evening, Blueprint, Wild Orchid, Rustic Rose, Cider and Pesto.
The high-performance Blended is the collection’s only coated fabric and has a lovely matte texture. Recycled, rapidly renewable and bio-based, the proprietary polycarbonate contains 8.3 recycled plastic bottles for every linear yard and will retain its structural integrity through regular cleaning and disinfecting. Blended is available in nine warm and neutral colourways: Silverstone, Khaki, Honey, Whiskey, Putty, Gravity, Flannel, Indigo and Pitch Black.
Each fabric in the Balanced collection from Bernhardt Textiles achieves the SCS Indoor Advantage Gold standard, is PFAS free, FR free and LBC Red List free.
