For his first collaboration with Allermuir, Paris-based designer Patrick Norguet has contributed Bastille — a series of chairs intended to bring functional comfort to hospitality settings, but it would be just as inviting in relaxed office spaces.

Comprised of dining and lounge chairs and a bar stool, the Bastille seating family has a shared aesthetic that treads the line between minimal and striking, contemporary and timeless.

The sculptural A-frame base supports an elegant wrap-around upholstered shell. The inviting seat tapers at the front to create separation from the back, adding subtle distinction to the streamlined silhouette.

Considered details like perimeter piping and hand-finished fluted stitching give the seats a tailored luxury that manages to highlight its simplified style.

The tubular steel legs are available in the standard New Black powder-coated finish and three optional finishes — Soft Gold, Soft Silver and Deep Mulberry. The upper portion can be upholstered in a variety of fabrics and leathers, including COM and COL.
