Utilizing manufacturing techniques from the aeronautical industry, the Borea collection of outdoor seating and tables by Piero Lissoni is unified through a common frame that is made from bent metal without any joints or visible interruptions.

Included in the seating aspect of the series are two- and three-seater sofas, an oversized armchair, a smaller low armchair and a dining chair; all pieces are stackable and made from aluminum, which can be finished in dove grey, sage, clay and anthracite.

Generously padded cushions add softness and are comprised of a polyester fibre filling derived from recycled PET plastic bottles – upwards of 510 bottles are needed for the three-seater sofa, 390 for the two-seater and 280 for the armchair. Upholstery options are inspired by nautical motifs, ranging from classic blue and white stripes and natural white to refined grey and fresh aquamarine green.

The main structure of the dining and coffee tables is steel and supports glazed lava stone tiled surfaces in three vibrant colours – sage, clay and ocean blue. The tiles are finished using a special process that spplies recycled glass from discarded TV and computer monitors directly to the surface of the stone. Two sizes are available that accommodate six or eight people.

Five smaller side tables in round and rectangular formats completed the collection and feature the same material makeup and options as the larger dining tables.
