Originally designed in 2025 by Milan-based Alessandro Stabile as an armchair and sofa for outdoor settings, Brezza Relax from S-CAB has been reimagined as Brezza Relax Indoor to bring the modular seating system to interiors.
Expressing the same deconstructed character and essential lines as its predecessor, Brezza Relax Indoor further expands the series with the addition of an armrest element that allows the sofa module to be configured with multiple seats (from two up to five); the armchair module can be arranged with or without armrests, depending on the desired look.
A new pouffe element, meanwhile, can be added to the compositions as a corner unit or used independently as a movable bench or ottoman. To further enhance the seating’s versatility, an integrable side table has been introduced to the portfolio; made from painted tubular steel, the tables can be topped with HPL or concrete and offer a practical surface for drinks, books, laptops and more.
All volumes of the Brezza Relax Indoor are defined by super-plush and oversized cushions that offer support and sink-in comfort. To better align with indoor stylings, a range of recyclable fabric coverings is available, with each option offering a pleasing tactility and arresting visual quality. A discreet galvanized tubular steel frame lifts the voluptuous body off the floor by a few centimetres without interrupting cushions’ casual lines.
The initial introductions of the overall Brezza collection from S-CAB included more conventional dining chairs, lounge chairs and a sofa comprised of relaxed yet generously padded cushions, set within an exposed tubular steel frame. With the outdoor version of Brezza Relax, Alessandro Stabile took inspiration from the concept of two cushions being pushed together, doing away with the framework and placing the cushions on the ground.
Brezza Relax Indoor continues this inviting relaxation, adding an ultra-soft seating element to lounges, hotel lobbies, co-working spaces and other public venues, as well as private residences.
