Montreal-based lighting studio Gabriel Scott recently updated its Briolette pendant with new Textured Glass finishes, three elegant surfaces that enhance the multifaceted fixture with a modern twist.
For the Briolette pendant, Gabriel Scott studio founder Scott Richler took influence from his past expertise in jewellery design, devising the lighting fixture with similar triangular or diamond-shaped facets. Balancing sharpness with delicacy, the double-blown glass Briolette pendant series from Gabriel Scott is handcrafted with precision to dazzling effect.
The three new Textured Glass finishes include: the sleek and sophisticated Lines, playful and energetic Bubbles and the organic and dramatic Crackled. Each texture is complemented by three contemporary colourway options – smoked, bronze and clear – with each adding its own personality, depth and versatility.
The drop-shaped Briolette pendant shade is supported by Gabriel Scott’s signature metallic prongs, angular finger-like tines that add another sophisticated detail to the compelling fixture. Both the prongs and the suspension stem are available in five premium finishes: brass, nickel, copper, bronze and black steel.
To add another layer of tailoring, the Textured Glass finishes also come in two additional colourway options for the glass, Smoked Gray (a cooler option that casts a contemporary ambiance) and Alabaster White (for a warm and inviting glow).
