Measuring three metres in length, the Briskeby bench by Oslo-based industrial and furniture designer Andreas Engesvik is the longest bench offered by Scandinavian urban furniture-maker Vestre

Streamlined and timeless, the bench has a minimalist expression and can be used to introduce seating for many in a multitude of social and private settings. The razor-thin steel legs recede visually, almost giving the extended span the impression of floating in place.

Made from raw and sustainable wood and metal, the bench was constructed in the Nordic tradition, resulting in a clean aesthetic with balanced proportions. The seat planks are offered in the standard Nordic pine impregnated with linseed oil and also comes in painted Accoya wood. The metal elements are available in one of 200 RAL colourways. The wood planks can also be replaced if needed, extending the bench’s overall lifespan.
