Spring 2026

Furniture and lighting from Milan, new directions in architecture and urbanism, Sydney’s Fish Market, Toronto’s LRT line and more — the Spring 2026 Issue of Azure focuses on products and perspectives across scales.

Sydney designer Rhys Cooper wanted to bring a sense of movement and play to the utilitarian room divider by focusing on creating distinct characters. The result: Buoy, from DesignByThem.

With a rounded shape, the standalone partitions gently sway back and forth when interacted with, similar to the floating nautical navigation markers that give the collection its name.

Along with providing visual division, the Buoy screens introduces both a textural backdrop and an acoustical buffer, as the FSC-certified plywood frame can be fully upholstered in a wide range of Kvadrat and Maharam fabrics.

Buoy is available in three sizes: Low, Medium and Tall.
