Casale Rustico tiles by Cle

A collaboration with Italian terracotta tile-maker Fornace Brioni, the Casale Rustico collection reinterprets the classic white tile installation to offer unique and unexpected layouts. The first glazed tile designed by Fornace Brioni for clé, the surfaces of the hand-hewn series have a slight ripple and authentic imperfections creating an effect that is equal parts modern and rustic. Two “bundles” or layout recipes have been created that mix and match sizes and shapes for unique applications.

The misto bundle is comprised of a set of two tiles in slightly different sizes that can be set with tighter joints or large and random grout joints that creates an interesting interplay between tile and grout.

Featuring three pieces – two square and one rectangle of the same width – the normale bundle will create an unconventionally beautiful arrangement.

Suitable for interior walls, fireplaces surrounds, showers and steam showers and backsplashes, Casale Rustico tiles are also available individually and can be installed in grid or herringbone layouts.
