The just-launched Chango x Chasing Paper wallpaper collection was born of the collaboration between two New York creative agencies – Susana Simonpietri (creative director) and her team at residential design studio Chango, and makers of innovative and high-quality peel and stick wallcoverings and traditional and Type II wallpapers, Chasing Paper.
After nearly 20 years and thousands of hours of experience sourcing wallpaper for its interior projects, Chango had noticed an opportunity to fill some gaps in the market – namely the type of designs they had wanted but could not often find.
The Chango x Chasing Paper wallpaper collection started from a simple thread sketch before growing into eight different patterns, each as lively, light-hearted and playful as the next.
As the pattern names imply – Grateful Thread, In Stitches, In Petite Stitches, Old Spool, Overcast Stitch, Semi Stitched, Stitched in the Stars and Quilty Pleasure – the eight designs of the Chango x Chasing Paper wallpaper collection feature illustrations reminiscent of threads and embroidery that lend a sense of movement and whimsy.
Each of the patterns are available in a variety of colourways that range from bright and poppy to more subdued. No matter the pattern or colour choice, the Chango x Chasing Paper collection is suitable for a multitude of interior spaces, from nurseries, children’s rooms and powder rooms to dining rooms, kitchens and bedrooms.
Made from self-adhesive poly-woven fabrics, the wallpapers in the Chango x Chasing Paper collection have a smooth matte finish, are low-VOC and PVC, fade- and stain-resistant and free from phthalates. The peel-and-stick collection is available on the brand’s substrates in signature panel sizes.
