Italian ceramics specialist Casalgrande Padana recently launched its newest range of home decor elements – the Convivialis table collection that elevates porcelain stoneware with simple and clean designs.
A wide-ranging series, the Convivialis table collection from Casalgrande Padana includes 14 options in different geometric shapes (rectangular, square, round, oval or hexagonal) and sizes, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Intended to bring people together, the porcelain tables are environmentally friendly, resistant to mechanical stress, fire-resistant, non-absorbent and treated with Bios Antibacterial technology. Some of the tables Included in the 14-piece Convivialis collection are: Double, Twice, Circle, Round, Endless, Shaped, Ellipses and Equal.
Comprised of two circles – a porcelain stoneware top and metal ring base – joined by three slender vertical slats, the two coffee tables that comprise Double (above left) have a subdued elegance. A coordinating set of nesting tables, Twice (above right) pairs the porcelain surfaces with open metal bases, the smaller one a continuous circle and the larger one with a void to accommodate the other; three vertical elements connect the tops and bases.
Short in stature, Circle (above left) has a Y-shaped metal base that curls upwards like a ribbon at three points to support its elongated porcelain surface. With the Round table (above right), three slender and slanted metal legs rise to form a perimeter edge that embraces the stoneware top (available in two heights).
Available in two sizes (each offered as an extendable version), Endless (above top) features two linear iron beams under the stoneware top that are fixed to two legs that are shaped like folded sheets of paper, a design that accommodates everyone comfortably. With Shaped (above and at top), an ultra-thin monolithic piece of stoneware is set in a slab of extra-clear laminated glass and supported by a base comprised of two slender and three-dimensional rectangular metal profiles.
A circular dining table, Ellipse (above left) has a metal central support that flares out at the bottom and resembles an upside-down wine glass; available in round and oval formats. The outdoor Equal (above right) features a complex base made from intersecting metal slats that form a graphic X shape and hold the circular stoneware top.
All tables in the Convivialis collection from Casalgrande Padana are available with the steel bases in white, black and, in some options, sand and a wide range of stoneware options.
