Combing two common materials – wood and ceramic – in a playful way, Scarabeo’s recent solution for the bathroom is a curious and completely functional washbasin console.

Three dowel-like legs are clustered together, crossing at the centre and fastened by ceramic cuffs, to form the base on which a circular ceramic surface sits. This console top can support up to 14 different versions of the brand’s vessel-style washbasins (including Bucket, Glam, Mizu, Shape and others); both the cuffs and surface are available in nine colourways, while the wood base can be stained dark or light.

A range of coordinating accessories – a small side table, mirrors, shelves and towel rails – round out the family to offer a cohesive bathroom aesthetic.
