Italian designer Massimiliano Raggi was inspired by the archetype of portable lanterns when devising his Cube collection for Contardi.
The Cube collection from Contardi is defined by clean architectural lines and a well-balanced interplay of form and function. Originally composed of the Cube Large and Cube Small versions, the collection has been expanded to include the compact Cube Mini, as well as a palette of new finishes that can be applied across all scales.
Available in both wired and rechargeable iterations, the entire Cube collection from Contardi offers flexible lighting solutions for a variety of settings, from private residential gardens and balconies to hospitality and contract environments.
Sharing distinct proportions and design languages, the lights combine durability with advanced engineering, featuring an IP65 protection rating. The lamps have a Marine Grade coating that is strengthened by a cataphoresis treatment (an electro-kinetic process) to provide long-lasting resistance to corrosion and weathering.
The new Dark Bronze finish of the Cube Mini is a deeper and more understated tone than its predecessor; it also replaces the previously gold interior with a monochromatic finish that complements the minimalist character and transparent ribbed plexiglass diffuser of the lanterns. The classic Matte White finish is still available.
Offering a 10-hour lifespan, the USB-C rechargeable battery is situated at the top of the lamp and, by a simple rotation, switches the light on and off.
