The latest addition to its collection by the late Austrian sculptor Erwin Hauer, Design 5 from Spinneybeck is a space divider that introduces sculptural definition to residential, hospitality and workspace settings.
A pioneer of Modular Constructivism, Ewrin Hauer began exploring modular sculptures and infinite continuous surfaces in 1950, with the organically shaped modules lending themselves for use as light-diffusing architectural screens and room dividers. With Design 5 from Spinneybeck, that legacy continues as part of the brand’s Continua series that already includes Design 406 (a carved wall system that blends natural materials with sophisticated curves).
Design 5 from Spinneybeck features a dynamic three-dimensional pattern made from repeated and overlapping circles. The result is a design that diffuses and reflects light as it moves throughout the day. Its expressive profile offers an ever-changing visual landscape that captivates from every angle.
Both an impactful design statement and a delineating solution for open spaces, Design 5 is made from milled high-quality MDF that can be painted in a near-endless range of colours to perfectly coordinate with any interior.
While available in one standard panel size of 121.9-centimetres-wide-by-243.8-centimetres-high (and 5.8 cenitmetres thick), Design 5 from Spinneybeck can also be custom-sized for installations. Optional hardware includes two threaded rods and levelling feet, which facilitate ease of installation.
