Marking the first-ever designer collaboration for 3form, the Dreamscape Collection by New York City-based Ringo Studio is a surrealist series that draws inspiration from the vibrancy and ethereal tones of spring and summer. 

Ringo Studio is known for a fearless use of colour and signature approach to materiality, which results in highly immersive environments (often with 3form materials throughout) and made the studio a perfect partner for 3form, a company at the forefront of colour and transparency. 

For the Dreamscape Collection, Ringo Studio and 3form developed a palette that creatively combines materials, colours, patterns and finishes in seven ways; with options for the brand’s Varia (a formable resin that allows for unique plays of colour, texture and light), Chroma (a thick, optical-grade resin surface), Glass, and Sola Felt (an acoustic felt) materials. 

On Varia: Holographic Haze expresses a metallic appearance thanks to a shiny fabric interlay cast in a chartreuse colour; with Electric Lily, the soft curves of the brand’s Capitol pattern are paired with a vibrant version of the Lily colour; while Stardust mimics antique glass with an art deco-inspired pattern and hazy neutral oat tone; and Floral Daydream blends Antique Fleur with a soft blue for a dreamy vintage effect.  

On Glass: The vibrancy of Tangerine Sunset, a blending of two intense orange tones, is achieved through a digitally printed gradient on glass. On Chroma: Flamingo offers up a hot pink option. For Sola Felt: Cosmic Dune features a mirage of sand and undulating ridges due to the pairing of 3form’s acoustic felt in Dune with Ozner, a vertical fluted texture.

The 3form Dreamscape Collection by Ringo Studio is available for Varia, Chroma, Glass and Sola Felt products in 1.2-by-2.4-metre and 1.2-by-3-metre panels with various gauge options.
