Devised to celebrate and showcase the essential beauty of wood, Italian architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni presents the Egadi dining chair collection for Very Wood.
Positioning wood as the central element, Dordoni has created three variants of one dining chair, all of which combine a solid and resistant structure with lighter upholstered elements.
Sharing the same rigid framework, the seats have a sculptural expression that is softened by the upholstered components seeming to be gracefully suspended between the slender high back and crossed four-leg base.
Originally offered in three dining chair versions, two more iterations were recently added to the Mediterranean-styled Egadi collection, with each offering distinct personalities.
The dining chair included in the series can be optioned with one of three backrests – a segmented cockpit-like version and two fully upholstered backs, one with armrests and one without.
A low yet generous lounge chair adds a comfort-driven design to the series and a circular stool with or without backrest completes the expanded alternatives.
All chairs and stools are available in a wide range of fabrics and colourways.
